Jewish History Tour

Paris History Tours

The first documentary evidence of the presence of Jews in Paris is 582. And from the 12th century on there was a Jewish quarter. Over the centuries, Jews have been admitted –and rejected but have always felt more at home in France than in other European countries. Today, France is home to the third largest Jewish population in the world. From the Marais to the Place de la Concorde our certified guides can walk you through their history demonstrating the influences the Jewish community had –and has, on Parisian life.  [2 hour tour]
