Day 1: Arrive in Paris

Morning: Airport Pickup

Your bilingual driver will welcome you to Paris just outside of the baggage claim with a sign with your name on it. En route to your lodging, he/she will be happy to point out iconic sites as you enter the city circle, welcoming you to the start of your stay in this magical city.

Afternoon: Montmartre Private Walking Tour

Your concierge will meet you in the lobby of your hotel for this tour.
Your personal concierge will take you to the top of Montmartre for its breathtaking views of Paris. On this private guided tour, you’ll visit the beautiful Sacré-Coeur Basilica and see the artists who still gather to sell their wares in the Place du Tertre. Stroll through cobblestone streets where Van Gogh, Toulouse Lautrec, Renoir, and Picasso painted their famous works. Don’t miss La Maison Rose, the Cabaret Lapin Agile and the only working vineyard in Paris.

Evening: Paris Night Lights – a Drive through Historic Paris 

Your concierge will pick you up from dinner for this tour.
Paris is called the City of Lights, and what better way to see it than at night. Your personal guide will take you on a dazzling ride through the city to see all the iconic sights and views from the best vantage points. For example, at Trocadero, get the most striking view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower stopping for a photo op. Pass by the monumental Pantheon in the Latin Quarter, then on to the Ile de la Cité to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pont-Neuf, drive down the Champs-Elysees to view majestic Arc de Triomphe along the way to the highest point in Paris, Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre. We’ll see the beautiful Opera Garnier and the elegant Place Vendôme while passing by the Tuileries Garden and the Place de la Concorde. The historical Invalides and the stunning Pont Alexandre III are also on our route, along with the Grand Palais. Your final destination will be your hotel, or wherever you prefer.

Day 2: The Louvre

Morning: Reservation at Angelina

We recommend beginning your day at the Belle Époque teahouse Angelina, for their world-famous hot chocolate and delicious French pastries! Your concierge will meet you outside Angelina at 10 am to begin your tour.

 

Musée du Louvre – Privately Guided Tour 

This two-hour highlights tour includes the medieval passageway, the Great Sphinx of Tanis, Venus de Milo, the Renaissance ballroom, Winged Victory and the Apollo Gallery; masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance by Botticelli, Fra Angelico, Raphael, da Vinci, and Michelangelo; key works by 19th century French masters Delacroix, Gericault and Ingres.

Day 3: The Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides & The Rodin Museum

Morning: The Eiffel Tower Private Tour

Make your own way to the Eiffel Tower for this tour. Enjoy skip-the-line access into the Eiffel Tower, as well as lift tickets that will take you up to the summit. Once inside you’ll enjoy an entertaining guided tour and learn the fascinating history of this iconic monument. You’ll also learn about many other famous Parisian landmarks seen from the Eiffel Tower, such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, and Notre Dame Cathedral.

Lunch Reservation

 

Afternoon: Les Invalides and The Rodin Museum

Your guide will pick you up from lunch and walk with you through the famous Rue Cler, a market street where you can stop for a special chocolate treat at La Mere de Famille, proud chocolatiers since 1761.

Continue on for about a 10-minute walk to Les Invalides, considered a masterpiece of French classical architecture. The magnificent gilded-dome royal church of St Louis des Invalides holds the tomb of Napoleon Bonaparte. Learn about the roles of both Louis XIV and Napoleon in the history of France, as well as the life and times of the soldiers who resided in the Invalides. If desired, you can book additional time to explore the Army Museum which is dedicated to themes from the French Revolution to the two World Wars, Charles de Gaulle, armor, artillery models and military musical instruments.

From there, you will visit the Rodin Museum. This Rodin Museum and city-chateau is home to the definitive collection of Auguste Rodin, one of France’s most famous sculptors, known for his powerful unconventional work. Rodin’s seminal work, The Thinker, and his great sculptures of Balzac and the Burghers of Calais are on display in the beautiful gardens, while The Kiss, his portrait busts, studies, paintings, and ceramics are found inside this mansion which once served as his studio.

Weather permitting, your tour will end with a relaxing tea in the lovely sculpture garden.
