What a 2/5/7 Day Paris Itinerary with American Concierge looks like

May 24, 2019

If you are planning a trip to Paris, you or your client may feel a little overwhelmed by all the different activities, restaurants, and sights at your fingertips. Here at American Concierge we love helping our clients create the best travel plan to suit each of their interests. Take a look below at three different travel options based on travel days.

2 Day Paris Itinerary

If you only have time to take a short weekend in Paris, we find that most visitors will only have time to see the sights but not enter them. The great thing about Paris is it is actually quite small for a capital. You can walk across the whole city in just about two and a half hours. If it’s your first time in this beautiful city, we highly recommend our highlights of Paris tour. You can ride along with a guide and spend the day seeing the most important sights to give yourself a little teaser of what to embrace on your next trip.

Take in all the iconic sites of Paris in just a few hours. One of our informative Concierges will pick you up from your hotel to take you on this four-hour private tour that brings you to the heart and birthplace of the city. You will get a real feeling for the life and history of Paris, and enjoy the mosaic of neighborhoods for which it is so well-loved. You’ll see the Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, le Marais, and a tour of the Right Bank. Time permitting, you’ll stroll through the beautiful Tuileries Garden, visiting the elegant Place Vendome along the way to the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Elysées.

Since this tour is just 4 hours long, we would organize a dinner reservation for you to enjoy some downtime and then by night you would embrace the city in a whole other way by enjoying our Paris Night lights tour.

Paris is called the City of Lights, and what better way to see it than at night. Your guide will take you on a dazzling ride through the city to see all the iconic sights and views from the best vantage points. For example, at Trocadero, get the most stunning view of the sparkling Eiffel Tower, stopping for a photo op. Pass by the monumental Pantheon in the Latin Quarter, then on to the Ile de la Cité to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the Pont-Neuf, drive down the Champs-Elysees to view majestic Arc de Triomphe  along the way to the highest point in Paris, Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre. We’ll see the beautiful Opera Garnier and the elegant Place Vendôme while passing by the Tuileries Garden and the Place de la Concorde. The historical Invalides and the stunning Pont Alexandre III are also on our route, along with the Grand Palais. Your final destination will be your hotel, or wherever you prefer.

5 Day Paris Itinerary

Now if you can dedicate more than a weekend to this dazzling city, we feel you will be able to better embrace the nooks and crannies, by actually entering some of our favorite museums.

The must-see sights of Paris always include a trip to the Louvre, and the best way to avoid the headache of jetlag and crowds is by joining one of our certified guides to take you directly to all the most essential highlights of the museum. This is a great way to keep yourself and the kids interested and save time by knowing you have hit all the key spots before moving onto the next since this museum can be so overwhelming.

Most of our clients always love a visit to the Eiffel Tower as well, and the great thing about having our team in Paris is we can easily book your own reservation to eat with one of the best views in the city!

After you enjoy many of the most important monuments and museums of the city we always recommend that our clients take the time to enjoy a nice bike ride around town with a guide. Gain bits of history and take in the sights from a different perspective as your breeze by all the most famous views of the world.

Finally, our guests always enjoy a dinner cruise down the seine, where they will dine on the finest French cuisine by watching the city sparkle over the river Seine.

7 Day Paris Itinerary

If you are lucky enough to enjoy a full week in Paris, then we usually recommend some day trips outside of the city. France is a beautiful country with so many beautiful destinations to visit. Some of our top highlights for guests have been visits to the beaches of Normandy, Champagne tasting in several famous private tasting houses. Guests are always in awe of the Chateau Versailles as well, just an hour train ride outside the city. Our knowledgeable guides will pick you up at your hotel in the morning and spend the day with you filling your brain with fun facts about French royalty while you enjoy lush gardens and fine French design.

Even better about more time in Paris, you will be able to enjoy one of our many food tours, ranging from chocolate to cheese, to wine or all of the above if you fancy! You can enjoy all of this and more during our one on one cooking classes. Learn how to select top quality produce from the market and meet local merchants to whom you are welcome to ask questions. Back at the school – aprons, chopping boards and chef’s knives provided – you will cook together from start to finish a starter, main course, and dessert, learning the ‘techniques’ of French cooking while following traditional French recipes.  At the end of the hands-on cooking session, you will sit down around the dining table and enjoy the 4-course meal together with your fellow sous-chefs, including an excellent selection of cheeses from the market and some great wine.
