Get up close and personal with Paris’s top Monuments on the seat of a bike. Discover and learn about the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, the Louvre, the Champs-Elysées, and many more amazing Paris highlights in half the time of a walking tour. Your local guide will tell you stories, share little known fun and historical facts, and let you in on many shortcuts and local tips.
Tour Length: 4 hours (includes a stop for lunch)
Among other things you’ll discover the wonders of the Louvre’s great glass pyramid, the deluxe of the Champs-Elysées, and marvel at the Eiffel Tower’s illuminations as it twinkles at night! Bike ride along the river to the Ile St. Louis to enjoy ice cream at the most famous ice cream shop in Paris. Cross over the picnic-filled Pont des Arts bridge and enjoy the sunset over the Paris rooftops. Bike through the Latin Quarter and the Ile de la Cité (Notre Dame). After, relax on board a boat cruise on la Seine and delight in seeing Paris dressed up in lights.

The Château de Fontainebleau, just 35 miles southeast of central Paris, can proudly claim to have been a sovereign residence for eight centuries. Capétiens, Valois, Bourbons, Bonaparte and Orléans, all members of French ruling dynasties, have lived within these walls. The chateau dates back to 1137—and centuries of royals have expanded this former royal hunting lodge to a more than 1,500-room estate. Most of what you’ll see dates back to the 16th century, a combination of Italian Renaissance art and French design, these rooms are some of the most intricate and breathtaking in France. If times allows, you can enjoy lunch in this charming area.
